Friends of Hakalau Forest emerged from painting among the native trees of Hakalau, surrounded by the vibrant birdsong of red honeycreepers. Created in collaboration with Jake Shimabukuro and Tracey Niimi, the work carries the rhythm of Jake’s music and the presence of this sacred landscape. The original was auctioned to support the Friends of Hakalau Forest, who steward this special place, and I’m honored to share prints that celebrate itʻs beauty.

A giclee is a high quality reproduction, printed to order on an inkjet printer using archival inks. Images of my oil paintings are printed on archival canvas. They are meant to last a lifetime.
