'Abstract Pikake' Oil painting on linen with real gold leafing. Painted this as an 'Artist-In-Residence' at their home in Laguna Niguel California. During my stay I also painted a couple other paintings for their living room and bedroom. Love creating custom works for people in their home. I get to get a feel for the space, the amount of light in the room and the inspiration from the family that lives there. The home is a sacred sanctuary and I'm grateful that my work goes in these spaces.
